Psychological Thoughts

psychology to me is the methodical study of human behavior and intellectual processes; it is the concrete foundation to a rational mind. It can also be considered as a catalyst to a novel way of thinking, an innovative way to solidify ones philosophies and understandings as a human being.
Numerous similarities are revealed when one juxtaposes a psychologist to a philosopher. Psychologists, just like philosophers, question and scrutinize the human norm. Psychological knowledge may be usefull in many ways. In most documented cases, it has been used to treat or rather help people with celebral disorders. It is mostly used to help individuals understand what or who they have become. In short, this means that large amounts of people in our societies today have lost their sense of identity as individuals. It sometimes takes a psychologist to drain our mental filters that are often clogged with rusted responsibiliy and moldy duress. Psychologists are the backbones to our societies; they are the glue that holds everything togethor. If it were not for psychologists, the world as we know it, would crumble like a neglected cookie.
Like a thirsty sun-dried sponge immersed in water, I plan to absorb all the information i possibly can. Honestly, i am more interested in learning about the theoretical part of psychology. I am truly curious as to where my final destination will be in this world of degredation and uncertainty. They say everything an individual learns, opens their eyes to a new world; I am wide eyed and open nosed to the world that is psychology. "Some people are afraid of what they might find if they try to analyze themselves too much, but you have to crawl into your wounds to discover where your fears are. Once the bleeding starts, the cleansing can begin." (Tori Amos)
